It’s never too early to start planning your travel; more so for road trips so you get more days for the fun on the road and few more days where ever the roads take you! We have some bad news though; there just aren’t enough extended weekends in 2018! Unlike the previous years, this year you will need to take some leaves to make the most of your vacation and long weekends in 2019. Having a good boss will do you a whole lot of good for sneaking time to travel from your work! 2019 Long weekend calendar : December 2018 – January 2019
It’s time to start planning a new year road trip but with the blessings of a lenient boss! You might have to take two leaves for this trip to happen. While places like Goa are always on the list, you might also want to try heading to the hills of North East for peace and solitude. Club your leaves with the long weekends in 2019 to get more days for rejuvenation.

This is one of the longest weekends in 2019 – all for Tamil Nadu!

If you are from Kerala, it doesn’t get better than this. So make the most of this time with a long road trip to Spiti. You deserve it! Monsoon can also bring out some of the best colors of heritage sites; which would be a good time to visit them too.
The weekend of 7th,8th and 9th would be a good time for the Ashtavinayak Yatra in Maharashtra. The crowds at temples would also be less considering deities would either be at home or visarjan (immersion) process would be on.
