Road Trip Advice to Chaukori

Post by raza_461900 » Thu Mar 08, 2018 12:06 pm

Hello,

I'm planning a road trip to Chaukori for my short Honeymoon. I'm planning this trip at the end of April.

Possible for you to guide the best route to take during this journey, we need scenic view also safe for driving.

So far here what I planned:
Day 1: Reached Jaipur
Day 2: Jaipur to Noida
Day 3: Leave Noida (Early in the morning)
Day 4: ???? (Please suggest where I should halt for the night stay and next day we'll start from Chaukori)
Day 5: Reached Chaukori

Also, I'm thinking to stay in Chaukori for 2-3 Days, so please suggest what other location nearby that I can explore?

Hi @raza_461900 : Congratulations in advance! ;)

The best place to break your journey would be near Nainital. Now since Nainital is too crowded, I'd suggest either Bhimtal or Pangot. Take your pick! :)

@raza_461900 Congratulations !

Any plan to explore Delhi /Noida or just a break ?
There are plenty of good hotels in Noida near to Nh-24 which will lead you to Morabadbad- Nainital - Chaukori. Can suggest you few, basis on the budget and your final itinerary.
As @yayawar suggested Bhimtal or Pangot are the best places to stay/explore. Kumaon region does have many places to explore like Binsar, Kausani, Mukteshwar within 3-4 hours.

No, right now I won't explore Delhi, It's just for a daybreak. It would be great if you can suggestions some hotel near Moradabad highway. My budget is around Rs.2000.

@getravelled : can you have a look at the requirement for hotel at Ghaziabad (and subsequently at Bhinmal/Pangot)?

Hey @raza_461900

How are you traveling this entire route? Hope its your own car! If you, there is a self drive option in Jaipur.

Hi Raza,
You can consider staying in Sattal, Pangot and Bhimtal too. While Sattal and Pangot will be a busy season for Bird photographers and watchers in April, but it will be still better than the weekend crowd of then adjoining places. You can also give a try Binsar, I would definitely recommend this one for Binsar: http://www.treeofliferesorts.com/binsar-home/

Thanks,
